Sihanoukville is the third largest city in Cambodia and a major port city located in the southern part of the Country, on the Gulf of Thailand. The Beaches have recently been voted as some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Famous for its natural beauty it is also very easy for visitors to get to Sihanoukville.

By air:
Getting to Sihanoukville by air is, at present, only possible via scheduled flights from Siem Reap. It expected that other external flights will commence shortly

By Bus:
One can reach Sihanoukville from Phnom Penh or Koh Kong by bus. There are regular bus services operated by a variety of companies, travel times from both places takes between 4 and 5 hours.

Golden Rooster Hotel is situated in the popular tourist area of Victory Hill. Victory beach is a short walk away where you can find beach shacks with beach beds, food and drinks.

When you need to go downtown, maybe to the popular local market, then there are plenty of friendly tuk tuk’s to take you for just a few dollars. You will probably want to visit some of the other beaches dotted around the town and again a short tuk tuk ride gets you on the golden sands.

Just outside the Golden Rooster there are many ‘lively’ late night bars and some good local and western restaurants. For those who like a flutter then there is also an international casino a short walk away.

Other attractions nearby include the Airport club (noticeable because it is built around a real size airplane) and the popular Sunshine Boat cruise which operates most days.

Of course there are several excursions you can book including trips to Ream national park, the waterfalls and many Wats (temples).

Flynn’s bar is where you can enjoy a drink with a game of pool or watch your favourite sporting events on the widescreen TV or use our Wifi & Computers.

It has a fully stocked bar offering all the local beers plus all the spirits and a few of the more
popular cocktails.

Choose from a range of Free to View, latest DVD’s.

Rent one of our Motorbikes to explore other Beaches, or book a Boat Tour and travel further to the out lying Cambodian Islands.

Golden Rooster Hotel is well equipped with all the facilities you would expect from a fine hotel.

Of course there is the well designed swimming pool down in the tropical style garden.

On the ground floor you can also visit Flynn’s bar which has a pool table and large TV screen showing all the major sports events.

Free wifi internet is available throughout the hotel and the bar has an internet computer you can use.

Some of the superior rooms with ocean views also have access to the large open balcony terrace where you can relax and watch the magnificent sunset.

For the more energetic, we have our well equipped Gym down by the pool.
